Salary | \xc2\xa334,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa336,000 p/a Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Fibre Supervisor to join the business. This position will be field based in the South Wales Area working between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Who are MJ Quinn

As a Fibre Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Fibre Manager in the successful delivery of our Openreach projects and will be responsible for ensuring Fibre Crews are working efficiently, and safely and receiving high-quality results through performance measures. Responsibilities of the role:

  • Accurate reporting of Spine & Build progress to the Fibre Manager and customer
  • Attend meetings (mainly conference calls) with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously working to improve efficiencies and processes to ensure that build is completed in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Ensuring that all engineers accreditations are kept up to date and relevant to job role.
  • Weekly review & capture of KPI data to manage crews\xe2\x80\x99 performance.
  • Daily engagement with the planning team to ensure delivery is executed on site in line with the THP build programme as agreed with the client.
  • To ensure TM requirements & compliance is managed across all Flex activities as required.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of information/documentation between the Planner and the Subcontractors / DL resource
  • Ensuring a robust auditing regime is carried out in line with MJQ Quality team.
  • Ensuring all Fibre activities are accurately invoiced in conjunction with the Fibre Manager / Commercial team.
  • To ensure all defects are rectified in a timely manner as per customer guidelines.
  • To work closely with the Fibre Manager to ensure delivery & compliance across all aspects of the contract.
Experience:
  • Telecommunications Experience (Openreach)
  • Excellent understanding of NRSWA / Streetworks
  • Able to demonstrate a previous track record of field supervision.
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no ban within the last 12 months.
