Job Overview



We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team as

Fibreglass Moulders/Laminators

. This role involves working with fibreglass materials, resins, and moulds to produce high-quality composite products for our growing business. Full training can be provided for the right applicant, but experience is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare moulds and apply release agents

Perform fibreglass hand lay-up and laminate materials

Mix and apply resins, catalysts, and gelcoats

Trim, sand, and finish parts to specification

Follow production drawings and instructions

Inspect products for defects and carry out basic repairs

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Use workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly

Skills and Experience



Previous experience in fibreglass, composites, automotive, or manufacturing

Knowledge of resin systems and curing processes

Ability to use hand and power tools (grinders, sanders, cutters)

Understanding of PPE and safe chemical handling

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work

Hours



8 hours per day (including a short lunch break). There may be times when additional hours are required.

They will be required to clock in/out on a daily basis using the digital time clock installed in the office.

Our coach building workshop is operational between 7.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. You may also very occasionally be required to work at weekends but this is rare (on such occasions you will receive time off in lieu during the normal working week).
