The Role
To effectively provide applications support (internal and external) leading to new 'design wins' for the company's products in both existing and potential customers, subsequently resulting in increased sales. We are focussed in providing its customers with the best service in the frequency products industry; we expect you to maintain that focus with our customers when carrying out the duties below.
About you
Strong understanding of electronic systems, embedded systems, or relevant technologies (e.g., semiconductors, RF, software, sensors, etc.)
Strategic thinking and decision-making
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with customers
Self-motivated, with high levels of initiative and drive.
Responsibilities
Providing applications support (internal and external) leading to new 'design wins' for the company's products in both existing and potential customers, subsequently resulting in increased sales
Frequent visits to new and existing customers with a strong focus on OEM's and design houses
Identification & proactive pursuit of new business opportunities through both direct & indirect (distribution or reps etc) channels with close liaison with relevant sales personnel
Produce and deliver technical presentations and training (both internal and external) as required
Maintaining a detailed knowledge of all the company's products
Helping with resolving technical and quality issues with customers incl. product cross references
Contributing to overall business planning and strategy
Define and execute the product line strategy aligned with company goals.
Develop short- and long-term roadmaps to guide product development and lifecycle decisions.
Identify market opportunities and emerging trends relevant to the product line.
Manage the entire lifecycle of products from ideation through end-of-life.
Experience
Essential -BSc Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Essential - 5 yrs + Experience in the electronics Industry.
The ability to travel, including international as necessary.
