The Field Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services within the community. This position involves managing a team of care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans, and maintaining effective communication with clients and their families. Duties
Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional care to clients in private residences.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Conduct regular assessments of client needs and ensure that appropriate services are provided.
Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices in senior care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and staff performance, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Foster a positive working environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
Liaise with external agencies and healthcare providers to coordinate services for clients.
Drive to various locations as required to oversee service delivery and conduct site visits.
On call cover is required, one out of four weeks.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising or managing teams within the care sector is essential.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing staff members.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and utilising software systems related to care management.
A valid driving licence is required for travel between client locations.
