Role Purpose



As a

Care Supervisor

, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between clients, care staff, and management. You will be responsible for overseeing care plans, scheduling and coordinating visits, and supervising care workers to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered.

This role requires strong organisational and leadership skills, along with a proactive and flexible approach. You will need to be both people-focused and detail-oriented, balancing the care and wellbeing of clients with the operational demands of the service.

Key Responsibilities



Plan and coordinate care worker rotas

, ensuring services are delivered on time and efficiently.

Conduct initial care assessments

and develop tailored care plans to meet individual client needs.

Monitor care delivery

and update plans as client circumstances and requirements change.

Ensure full compliance

with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and GDPR requirements.

Supervise and support care workers

, carrying out spot checks, observations, and training as needed.

Manage queries and complaints

, addressing client and staff concerns promptly and effectively.

Participate in the on-call rota

, responding to out-of-hours issues as necessary.

Assist with recruitment and induction

, supporting the ongoing training and professional development of care staff.

Provide care visits when required

, covering staff absences or emergencies to ensure continuity of service.

What are we looking for?



We are looking for someone who is great on the phone and in face-to-face meetings. We need to see experience of leading / supervising a team in a care services background. Full and ongoing training will be given.

Essential Requirements



Proven experience in a care coordination or supervisory role within domiciliary care. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent, or working towards).

Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Flexibility to work varied hours

, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Strong knowledge of care sector regulations and CQC standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. IT literate, with confidence using scheduling systems and Microsoft Office. Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Right to work in the UK. High level of discretion and confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Are a 'people person' and value providing great service. Enjoy working as part of a team, as well as being able to use your own initiative. Can confidently communicate with people at all levels. Can keep calm under pressure. Would like to work in a fun and friendly office & field-based environment.

Desirable Requirements



Knowledge of Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, and the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire. Experience using care management software. Ability to mentor, coach, and support junior team members.
