Nwando Care Ltd is looking for Field Care Supervisor (driver required).
1. Overview

Operations Manager,
the
Field Care Supervisor
is responsible for ensuring that a high-quality care service is delivered to all Service Users at Nwando Care. They will be responsible for all care delivered to service users within their designated area and ensuring that the policies and procedures of the company are implemented and followed.
2. Main responsibilities and Responsibilities
To lead on field visits to ensure new & existing service users' care packages are person-centred and are in line with regulatory frameworks, whilst ensuring to supporting the service users' to remain independent whilst taken into account their personality.
To ensure monthly and/ weekly care plan audits are submitted on time.
Carry out initial risk and needs assessments in respect of individual service users,either in the service user's home or, where required, in other settings such as hospitals or residential/nursing homes.
To ensure communication of changes to care packages with the Care Coordinators and Area Managers.
Conducting/supporting initial assessments and assessments for existing clients
Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered. Taking action to make improvements if necessary.
On-board/shadow new Carers in the field.
To assess the competency of Carers completing the care certificate to meet the company's recruitment needs. Ensuring all Carers are competent to carry out their job roles.
To ensure training needs of all Carers are met effectively - implement, identify, and provide for on-going training.
Act on feedback/concerns from service users and communicate appropriately with the rest of the business.
Monitor and assess all service users for customer satisfaction
Undertake care visits when required, e.g. due to staff sickness or when new service users have not yet been allocated a care team and provide out of hours "on call" cover in rotation with other senior staff. A percentage of total working time of at least 50% will be dedicated to providing direct care visits.
Develop positive relationships and attend multidisciplinary team meetings; ie GP, community nurses, HEN team etc. in regards to the delivery of care to the service users in their area.
Taking responsibility for MAR Charts collection and analysis
Responsible for the supervision of carers across all fields
Undertake care visits where necessary i.e.in event of staff sickness.
Provide on call cover in conjunction with other senior staff.
Ensuring all confidential information is held securely.
Prepare files for new initial referrals.
Carry out the on-site observation and evaluation of Carers practice as part of routine supervisions, in response to particular performance concerns, or as otherwise directed. Monitor, supervise and mentor all Carers.
Provide support to our Carers in their day to day job.
Promote a safe working environment and safe systems of work in respect of Carers in the field.
To have the knowledge and ability to model good practice whilst being prepared to challenge poor performance.
Understand and follow accident/incident, complaints and safeguarding reporting procedures.
Attend staff/management meetings as required.
Be proactive in reporting back to Operations Director of any issue effecting the delivery of care.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform various tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Mileage Allowance
? You will be required to use your own vehicle on company business. You will be reimbursed for mileage carried out on behalf of the company. The rate payable will cover the cost of tax, business insurance, maintenance and any other cost associated with providing and using your vehicle on company business.
