KEY ACTIVITIES
Pre-Job preparation of equipment and installation procedures.
Competent engineer, working as an individual or as part of an installation crew.
Installation of products in line with company procedures.
Ensure project management objectives are met.
Assist in the planning of installation activities to ensure installation success.
Aid in the preparation of supporting documentation for all aspects of surface equipment including Operation Manuals, Hook-up Drawings, System Diagrams, Installation & Commissioning Procedures, Work packages, Configuration Records and End of Well reports.
Maintain the Project Folders and all supporting documentation.
Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades for installations.
Always adhere to company and clients HSE requirements and local legislation and actively participate in promoting a safe working environment.
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment.
To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments.
To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the companys Quality or HSE Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: HND/Degree in engineering, electronics or applicable relevant experience.
Preferred:Optical / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
Offshore background experience in both upper and lower completions.
Significant field experience in both offshore and onshore environments.
Substantial Interventions experience with a good all rounder knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
Competent in Microsoft Packages.
Experience in working alongside clients and able to hold pre job meetings and TBTs.
Basic understanding of upstream production products in the oil and gas.
Preferred:
Downhole electronic tool experience (assembling and deploying) for example memory tools or electric line logging tools, electronic gauges.
Oilfield Reservoir Monitoring & Data Acquisition Systems, fibre optical experience or knowledge.
Filtering device knowledge such as Sand and Inflow Control Screens, Valves.
Zonal Isolation knowledge such as Packers.
Experience in wireline / electric line logging, memory logging and hanging device setting.
A good all round working knowledge in the use of Lithium Batteries.
An understanding of shipping materials and equipment to and from location.
Current BOSIET and MIST.
Familiar with ISSOW systems.
Current UK medical certificate.
Valid Passport for Visa applications.

* Candidates should be able to reliably commute to our Aberdeen office, as the role will be office-based when not working offshore.
