Job Description

Due to the success of the Vulcan burner range combined with the continual growth of our core burner servicing business, we currently have a vacancy for a Field service & maintenance engineer with a desirable electrical/mechanical background, full combustion training will be provided to develop the candidate's capabilities. Ideally located in the Midlands.

The role will mainly be involved in the service & repair of industrial burners 1MW - 45MW for the Asphalt, Quarrying and Industrial process industries, as well as involvement in installations, programming, testing R&D projects and commissioning of new Vulcan Burners across sites throughout the UK. The position requires the applicant to be field based, will be able to work on their own initiative and provide good time management reporting to Head Office based in Northern Ireland remotely via technology means.

This is a challenging role with the applicant expected to work away from home during the week, covering all areas of the UK and must be available for some weekends throughout the year for Installation works. International work is also available due to the growth of the company.

Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualifications required

Desired experience in the following:

Able to read schematic drawings

Understanding in pipework, pumps fuel delivery & pressures

Electrical awareness

A clean UK driving licence required
