Location

This position is field based at client sites traveling from a home location operated from an electronic diary with an ideal location of Northamptonshire and will involve the fitting, servicing and maintaining of connected dash camera's in all vehicle types.

The role:

Are you looking to join a growing business working in a challenging role on all kinds of 12 and 24v vehicles? Do you have Auto-electrical installation experience and good knowledge of Telematics and Camera systems? Are you based in the Northampton area?

If so, Surecam a company that specializes in camera telematics systems for a range of automotive clients is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will work from home and travel to client sites to install and maintain connected camera solutions.

The key responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Installing and maintaining cameras on a range of vehicles.

Travelling approximately 100 mile radius from home location to client sites.

Performing checks and electronic diagnostics.

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have;

excellent communication skills, written and verbal essential;

good knowledge of electronics systems in Cars, Vans, HGV's, plant is essential;

experience working with job application systems or electronic diaries

a good understanding of telematics and GPS essential;

experience in dealing with fleet operators ideal;

a willingness to travel essential;

ambition, drive, focus, determination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 36,000.00 per year
