Primary function of the role is to foster relationships with existing wholesale/cash & carry accounts and drive brand awareness and retail sales through those accounts. Grow the territory by developing current accounts, educating the retailer network on the IVG brand and portfolio to close and transfer profitable sales through those accounts by attending trade days and servicing the wholesale network.

Main duties:
Be the best possible 'face' of the company.
Manage, develop and grow allocated field sales accounts/territory.
Take accountability for achieving targets and KPIs within your accounts.
Hold trade/demo days to promote the brand and product ranges to wholesalers, retailers and cash & carries.
Understand the market and product range, training/educating wholesale and retail staff, to reinforce our expert status.
Understand (and adhere to) the pricing value chain and its impact on the business. Report back on pricing activity.
Generate sales orders and follow-up until it's delivered.
Ensure primary product placement and visibility in store and online.
Plan and run suitable promotions and campaigns to increase awareness, demand and penetration.
Deploy POS in channel and enhance branding in the market.
Ensure stock availability in the channel.
Provide forecasts to your line manager.
Schedule journey plans and prioritise time management.
Provide timely daily/weekly reports as requested.
Work closely with internal sales support to ensure customer service excellence.
Manage expenses within guidelines.
Report on market intelligence, competitor activity and trends.
Attend relevant industry exhibitions to network and promote the brands.
Take responsibility for company stock and property.
Ambassador for company values and customer service excellence.
Play an active role in training with line manager and Product team.
Follow standards for professionalism, best practice and compliance.
ROLE REQUIREMENT:
2 years' experience, working in a field sales role
Confident, professional, approachable style
Good networker and personable
Good Planner
Ability to work independently
Good presentation skills
Highly numerate and ability to think commercially
A great communicator both verbally and written
Pro-active, detailed approach to tasks with the ability to use own initiative
Energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude are a must
This is a field-based role and you must have the availability to travel
Full clean driving licence
