is a highly successful, expanding company that provides Electric Vehicle Charge Points; Cutting Edge Energy Solutions, Vehicle Workshop Equipment and numerous other Electrical, Mechanical & Engineering components including Oil Systems, Dura cabinets and workshop Supplies.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing client relationships, as well as building new relations throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland. This role involves both office and field-based duties suitable to a proactive individual with strong relationship management skills and an understanding of the commercial sales landscape, ideally within the engineering sector in Northern Ireland. You will report directly to the Company Director, helping to deliver o key growth objectives and drive sales through various channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with key accounts across various sectors.
Regularly liaise with manufacturers and suppliers.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
Conduct thorough local market research to understand demand trends and optimise product flow through commercial channels.
Provide comprehensive support and ongoing communication to clients to ensure a smooth and effective business relationship.
Work closely with all points in the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and product availability, addressing any issues in the flow of goods.
Work closely with company engineers and management on larger projects and undertakings, including generating comprehensive quotations.
Stay market-aware through competitor analysis, helping to align the company's sales strategies with market demands.
Provide regular reports on sales activity and progress.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications
At least 3 years' experience in a target driven environment or similar role with demonstrable knowledge of sector and market.
A strong sales background, ideally within the Engineering/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Tool/ Equipment/ Automotive Sector.
Demonstrated experience in managing commercial relationships and optimising sales opportunities.
Financial awareness and a good grasp of the sales process, particularly within a commercial context.
