Role Summary:

This is a hands-on field sales role, perfect for someone at the start of their commercial career or looking to grow into a high-performing sales role within the FMCG or vaping sector.

The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and developing existing retail accounts while actively identifying and onboarding new customers across the Scottish region. With listings already secured at key wholesalers, your mission will be to drive product uptake, visibility, and sell-through in both specialist vape stores and generalist convenience retailers. You will support our wholesale partners by stimulating demand -- and where necessary, capture direct orders to help establish presence and momentum.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Territory Management & Account Growth



Visit existing retail stockists to strengthen relationships, check product availability, and support sell-through via POS, staff engagement, and merchandising. Identify and approach new retail prospects across your territory -- including independent convenience, forecourt, and specialist vape stores. Actively promote the brand portfolio, securing new listings and growing the footprint of our products in-store.

2. Wholesale Activation



Encourage retailers to purchase our products via listed wholesale partners, helping to stimulate demand and drive sell-out from depot. Provide stockists with information on where to buy, latest pricing, and any current promotions or incentives available through wholesale channels. Report on gaps, pricing issues, or wholesale challenges to the wider team to ensure alignment and responsiveness.

3. Direct Sales (where required)



Where wholesale supply is not possible or practical, take direct orders to ensure retailer access to products. Accurately record and process orders and ensure customer expectations on delivery are met.

4. Store Execution & Brand Visibility



Support stores with product education, merchandising support, and compliance with planograms and display guidelines. Drive in-store presence with point-of-sale materials and promotional tools. Identify opportunities for improving brand presentation and communicating competitor activity.

5. Reporting & Insight



Maintain regular updates via CRM or internal systems on store visits, actions taken, and opportunities identified. Provide feedback on territory trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Report on daily/weekly KPIs including visits made, new stores opened, sales secured, and route-to-market performance.

Experience & Skills Required:



Previous sales or retail experience (preferred, but not essential - attitude and drive matter more). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging store owners, managers, and staff. Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently in the field and manage a defined sales territory. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Full UK driving licence is essential.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
