Role Overview



As a Field Sales Representative for the North of England you will be a key part of our growth. You will build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, developers, builders, fabricators and showrooms -- promoting the Infinity porcelain slab range, identifying new sales opportunities, and supporting projects from specification to order and delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and manage a portfolio of trade clients across the North of England (architects, designers, builders, fabricators, kitchen showrooms, developers). Actively seek out and win new business opportunities -- cold calls, site visits, showroom visits, networking with industry professionals. Provide expert product knowledge and specification support: advise on slab sizes, finishes, suitability for different use-cases (worktops, floors, walls, furniture, cladding). Follow up on leads, quotations, and orders working closely with the internal sales and logistics team. Build long-term relationships and deliver excellent customer service, representing Clay International's values of quality, integrity, and client-centered excellence. Report on sales activity, market feedback, and competitor activity -- contribute to growth strategy for the region.

What We're Looking For



Prior experience in B2B field sales -- ideally within building materials, surfaces, construction, interiors, or related industries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to architects, designers, and trade professionals. Self-motivated, driven and target-oriented, with ability to work independently across a wide geographic area. Knowledge or interest in building materials, interior finishes, and design/construction sector is a strong plus. Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across the North of England. Professional approach and ability to build trust-based relationships with trade clients.
