We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services for our range of Autoclaves machines. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Field Service Engineer will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets customer satisfaction standards.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to
Travel to customer locations to assess, diagnose and repair faults in Autoclave machines, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations and machines are operating efficiently and safely.
Travel to customer location to perform routine inspections and servicing to prevent machine breakdowns, including check critical components, replacing worn parts and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Apply systematic fault-finding techniques to identify issues in mechanical and electrical systems. This includes using diagnostic tools and interpreting system error codes.
Providing technical advice and support to customers as required, either over the phone or through site visits, including training and technical guidance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the face of the company and ensuring customer satisfaction through providing a professional and friendly service.
Work closely with internal teams, coordinating with parts and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of necessary components.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of service activities, maintenance, repairs and any modifications made to the machines.
Timely completion and submission of any paperwork associated to the works, such as Job Sheets and Validation Reports.
Educating customers on the proper use and maintenance of the machines.
Ensure that machines meet all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Be prepared to travel to various customer sites across the UK and abroad as required.
Experience
Proven experience in servicing and repairing Autoclave machines.
Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
Hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Familiar with installing and commissioning industrial equipment at customer sites, including testing and calibration.
Experience working in sectors where compliance with health, safety and quality standards is critical, such as healthcare, laboratories or pharmaceutical industries.
Experience in customer-facing roles, providing technical support and training.

Working Conditions
Manual handling, lifting and carrying tools or equipment.
Full UK driving licence.
Working on customer sites.
May be required to work outside of the UK at customer sites as required.
