The Opportunity
We're currently seeking a
Product Specialist (Field Service Engineer)
to join our friendly and forward-thinking operations team.
This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with cutting-edge technology, and delivering exceptional service to customers. You'll play a key part in installing systems, servicing equipment, and supporting our customers remotely and on-site.

What You'll Be Doing
Installing, servicing, and maintaining our robotic and AI vision systems on customer sites
Troubleshooting issues and supporting clients to ensure their systems run smoothly
Taking part in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support
Collaborating with colleagues across the business to share knowledge and solve problems
Building great relationships with customers - ensuring they feel valued and well looked after
Reporting progress clearly and accurately to the Team and Contractor Manager.
Completing all required documentation (e.g., risk assessments, service reports) with care and precision
What We're Looking For
We're open-minded about your background - what matters most is your willingness to learn, solve problems, and provide excellent service.
Ideally, you'll bring:
A formal engineering qualification, HNC/HND-level education, or 2+ years' experience in a field service role
Experience with
electrical installation (18th Edition qualification is a bonus.) but know the business end of a spanner
or...
mechanical service and repair but can confidently wire a plug.
Comfortable using hand/power tools.
Confident with technology and software.
A logical thinker with great attention to detail and time management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel regularly across the UK (often every other week, up to 5 days) and occasionally abroad
Additional qualifications like PASMA or IPAF would be helpful but are not essential.
