Field Service Engineer - Commercial Warewashers

Location:

Bishops Stortford (serving Essex, Hertfordshire, and London)

Salary:

28,000 per annum

Based near Bishops Stortford, we are looking for a challenging and rewarding role serving

hospitality and commercial customers

across Essex, Hertfordshire, and London.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Service Engineer to join our growing team, specializing in the installation and repair of commercial warewashing equipment & other catering appliances.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or experienced engineer, or an engineer, who is eager to transition into a new career.

Full training and ongoing guidance will be provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial warewashing equipment (dishwashers, glasswashers, utensil washers) at

hospitality and commercial client sites

across Essex, Hertfordshire, and London. Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently, providing effective solutions. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Liaise professionally with clients, providing excellent customer service and technical support. Manage your own service calls and schedule effectively. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

We are looking for candidates that have:

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to work. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with hospitality and commercial customers. A full UK driving license is essential.
Full training will be provided and the position is open to both junior and experienced candidates. However, the ideal candidate will also likely have at least some previous experience working as a:

Commercial Warewasher Engineer:

Experience in the repair and installation of commercial dishwashers, glasswashers would be highly desirable.

Commercial Catering Equipment Engineer:

While not essential, relevant experience with other commercial catering appliances will be

beneficial

Domestic Appliance Engineer:

Engineers with a strong background in repairing domestic appliances are encouraged to apply, as transferable skills are highly valued.
