Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our advanced equipment at client sites. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Duties

Install and configure equipment at customer locations, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime. Provide on-site training and support to clients on the operation of equipment. Prepare detailed reports on service activities, including findings, recommendations, and customer feedback. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product performance based on field observations. Maintain an organised inventory of tools and spare parts necessary for service tasks. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties in various environments.

Requirements

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients professionally. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the industry. Willingness to travel frequently to client sites as required. A valid driving licence is essential for this role. Previous experience in a similar field service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
