Keljay Ltd, based in Alfreton Derbyshire, are a leading manufacturer and supplier of all waste compaction equipment and Waste Balers.

Keljay offer maintenance, installation and servicing, and we are looking to recruit Service Engineers to support this work nationwide.

We are looking for the Engineer to focus on the Midlands as part of this role.

To enable you to do this Keljay offer a great support structure including your own van, relevant equipment for the role, tablet computer and company mobile phone.

As a Keljay Service Engineer your responsibilities would include:

Diagnose and repair various waste management machinery, mainly balers and compactors. Perform routine maintenance, installation and servicing of this equipment. Provide on-site support and technical assistance to clients. Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues. Make updates to jobs in "real-time" including pictures and videos where necessary using a handheld tablet computer. Assist in the training and support of customers on equipment usage.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a field service engineer or similar role. Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing waste management machinery, mainly balers and compactors. Electrical and Hydraulic fault finding. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A good level of physical fitness that will enable manual handling. Experience in the safe use of standard hand tools, electrical tools, lifting equipment and hot work equipment.
