We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients on-site. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
2 roles available 1 based in Didcot covering South of the UK, 1 based in Barnsley covering North of UK
Responsibilities
Conduct on-site inspections, maintenance, and repairs of equipment as required.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of equipment.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product quality and service processes.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service activities.
Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar position is advantageous.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites as required.
A valid driving licence is necessary for this role.
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
Ability to work away from home for multiple days at a time.
