We're looking for an experienced and versatile Field Service Engineer to help deliver outstanding Server, Storage, and Network support services across the Scotland region.The RoleYou'll play a vital role in delivering second-line support to customers, owning technical escalations, and maintaining a high standard of field-based service. Working independently in a client-facing environment, you'll triage, resolve, and manage a variety of hardware-related incidents while contributing to strong and long-lasting customer relationships.Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd line Server, Storage & Network issues.
• Own and manage incidents affecting customer SLAs.
• Respond to technical assistance requests professionally and effectively.
• Perform hardware maintenance and arrange parts replacements as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to support maintenance and sales activities.
• Represent the company with a professional, high-quality service profile.
• Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks) to support out-of-hours incidents.

What You'll Need

• Strong background in Field Support / IT Engineering Services (ideally within Third Party Maintenance).
• Hands-on experience with:

xe2x96xb8 Servers, Storage, Tape Backup & Networking equipmentxe2x96xb8 Multi-vendor systems including IBM, SUN, Cisco, Dell, HP, NetApp, Fujitsu, EMC, Hitachi

• Proven experience supporting external clients in demanding environments.
• Confident communicator - written, verbal, and face-to-face with customers.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs.
• Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
