We are looking for experienced Field Service Engineers for our Broadcrown Power Engineering division to cover London and the surrounding Home Counties. The role will provide onsite customer support specifically to generators, with a primary focus on maintenance, responding to call outs and completing remedial work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with generators
Service a wide variety of machines generators
Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
Good customer service skills
Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards
Key skills we are looking for:
Minimum of 5 years experience servicing large diesel generators
Competent to work on electrical and mechanical aspects of generators as well as fuel and control systems.
Competent to work on large 2MW insitu generators
Familiarality with Deepsea and ComAp beneficial
Familiarality with 18th Edition beneficial
CSCS Card beneficial
Ability to work without supervision
Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness
Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with MS Office
