Job Overview

The Cryonorm Group are seeking a skilled and motivated multiskilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the service, repair and maintenance of cryogenic equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service, the role is client facing where strong communication skills and the ability to form good professional relationships is paramount.

The role will be primarily field based, with the rest of the time being spent out of our home office in Harrogate.

Responsibilities

Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of components, equipment, valves, instrumentation and safety devices at customer sites. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Perform routine inspections on components, equipment, valves and safety devices according to prescribed procedures and standards. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and installations. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product functionality and customer experience. Provide support to customers on the proper use of equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site.

Experience

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in a technical environment. Experience of Cryogenic Systems is advantageous Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and fault finding. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while travelling to various locations.

Qualifications

Formal qualification in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline or significant demonstratable experience Valid Driving Licence Gas Safe Registration advantageous
