We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients in the field. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will be provided with a van with a tail lift and will undergo deliveries and collections too.
Responsibilities
Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment as required.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Document service activities accurately and maintain records of work performed.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
Provide training and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service quality.
Skills
Strong technical aptitude with experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while prioritising tasks.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software relevant to the field is advantageous.
A valid driver's licence is required for travel to client sites.
