We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients in the field. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of equipment, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Duties

Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment as per customer requirements. Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance and reliability based on field feedback. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, installations, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in various environments. Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

Experience

A background in engineering or a related technical field is essential. Previous experience in a field service role is highly advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members professionally. Familiarity with electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, welding experience or relevant software applications is desirable. A valid driving licence is required for travel to client locations.
