ROLE SUMMARY

mutual support are truly valued (even the owner gets involved!). They're looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused Field Service Engineer with experience in mechanical, electrical, and water-based systems, though direct vending experience is
preferred. It's a great opportunity for someone who's ready for a new challenge, takes pride in their work, and brings a professional, friendly, easy going, and positive attitude. You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining vending equipment,
reducing breakdowns, and helping deliver a top-notch customer experience.

DUTIES
-Work with a range of vending machines including snack, water, and coffee machines from brands such as WMF, N&W, Jofemar, Coffetek, Crane, Franke, Bestir (Jura), and others
- Attend fault call-outs to inspect and repair machines, aiming for first-time fixes and performing servicing as needed to prevent future faults.
- Assist with machine installations, relocations, site surveys, and connecting machines to water mains and drainage systems
- Perform routine cleaning, descaling, and preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Communicate with the Service Desk and update job statuses using tablets, smartphones, or computers
- Identify, order, collect, and replace parts as needed; stay familiar with technical manuals and attend training to maintain high service standards
- Work closely with the team, provide cover for sickness/holidays, and assist operators with moving, stocking, or resetting machines when required
- Maintain a clean, roadworthy company electric vehicle, ensuring it's fully charged, and attend the first site or stockroom around 6:30am to beat London traffic.

WHAT IS ON OFFER
- Annual starting salary of 32000 (plus end of year bonus)
- Full-time permanent position
- 40 hours per week (excluding breaks)

WORK TIMES
- Early start time: (6:30am at first site to beat London traffic)
- 5 days a week (8 hours per day)
- Monday to Friday

REQUIREMENTS
- Enthusiastic, friendly, professional, and well-presented
- Minimum 2 years recent Field Service Engineer experience
- Skilled in repairing electro-mechanical machines
- Experienced with equipment involving liquid systems
- Comfortable driving and parking in Central/Greater London
- Lives within or near London Zone 4
- Able to lift heavy stock and machines
- Flexible, punctual, with strong time management
- Clean driving license, max 6 points
- Works well independently and in teams
- Reliable with excellent customer service
- Strong problem-solving, technical, and organizational skills
- Analytical, uses manuals, internet, and logic to fix faults if required
