UK's one of the leading independent distributors & service providers of commercial laundry equipment company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

Install and configure equipment at customer locations according to specifications. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide on-site repairs and technical support for customers, addressing any issues that arise promptly. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements. Train customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.

Person Specification

Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering roles. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams. Good understanding of health and safety standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management and ability to work independently. Professional and personable attitude with good customer service skills. Full UK driving license. Gas Safe registration or certification (preferred but not essential)
