About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated

Field Service Engineer

to join our team. In this role, you'll perform break/fix repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on a variety of equipment, such as:

Barcode scanners EPOS systems Last-mile delivery lockers Car parking systems Access Control Systems

Training

: Don't worry if you lack experience with these technologies--comprehensive manufacturer and in-house training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, aiming for first-time fixes. Maintain accurate tool and parts inventory. Adhere to service level agreements and update call progress via a smartphone. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills

:

Strong problem-solving and technical skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Full UK driving license and ability to pass security screening.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

:

IT or engineering qualification. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with retail equipment, parcel lockers, or similar systems is a bonus.

Personal Attributes

:

Reliable, punctual, and professional. Flexible and willing to work occasional weekends or out-of-hours. Self-motivated with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
