We are currently in the process of recruiting Full-Time Field Service Engineers to service and maintain AV and IT equipment in retail units throughout the midlands and north of England.

The successful candidate will be required to cover a range of works including installation of hardware and software. Inspect and diagnose AV and IT equipment, identifying faults and potential problems.

A desire to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team is highly desirable as well as an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Requirements

Essential:

Minimum 1 Years' experience in a similar role Full Drivers Licence Confident manner with excellent operational & organisational skills Competent and Punctual Ability to troubleshoot low voltage electronics and IT equipment Experience with Reporting, Time Sheets and Company Paperwork High Standards for Completed works Fluent English Ability to Work Flexible hours with weekend rotation

Advantageous:

Safe Pass and Manual Handling (Training Can be arranged) Experience in installation of AV/IT Hardware/Software is a distinct advantage

Experience:

Field Service Engineer: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment as required. Utilize strong organizational skills to manage schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including manual handling and CSCS standards. Maintain accurate records of service activities and communicate effectively with clients. Drive to various locations while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a valid driving license. Provide IT support and troubleshooting as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
