Hillend Engineering is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of high-quality, custom-built Recycling Collection Vehicles, operating in Dalgety Bay, Fife for over 50 years.

Due to an increase in demand, we are looking to grow our regional service team.

We are looking for a

Field Service Engineer

for the North East of England. Ideally from Newcastle to York although other areas will be considered.

You'll commission new vehicles, train operators and fitters, repair and make modifications to our vehicles. You'll build relationships with your customers, to promote our spares and service sales.

You'll have:

Excellent communication skills to be able to manage expectations with your customers. Experience as a commercial vehicle engineer, ideally in a field-based role in Commercial vehicles, with a proven ability to prioritise your workload. Experience with hydraulics and Can bus electrical systems an advantage but training will be given. A can do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
