Job Description

Our company installs and maintains a range of commercial cold rooms located in supermarkets within the UK. We have an opportunity for a hard-working, keen, and diligent person who is interested in problem-solving and mechanical repairs to join our team.

The job involves repairs on refrigerated sliding and garage/industrial style doors and other building/mechanical infrastructure such as Electrical fault finding, replacing, repairing worn parts, and many other maintenance tasks.

We would like to see some experience in practical maintenance and general history of engineering practices as well as being keen to learn new techniques. The position requires the use of tablets, apps, and email for job reports so the applicant must be comfortable with using technology.

The applicant MUST have a valid driving license and be willing to travel, The candidate needs to be based in or around the Milton Keynes/Bedford area due to working alongside local engineers. The job can mean long hours and work in the evenings and weekend at certain times.

Internal training program will be included with this job but will need previous experience with the cold room/freezer

Candidates must have:

Electrical qualification Level 1 (minimum) Construction skills card Maintenace experience or coldroom chiller/freezer knowledge Full Uk driving license

Pay: 31,200.00-43,000.00 per year
