Summary

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at MB Firepumps Limited.

We are aware that this is quite an unknown job in the realms of engineering/ mechanical background, suited to existing fire pump engineers, generator engineers, heavy goods mechanic, electrical/ mechanical maintenance engineer, car mechanic, auto electrician and other associated mechanical trades. training will be provided for the right candidate if its required.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing of static pump room based emergency Diesel Engine driven and Electric motor driven fire pumps and equipment across Scotland. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence while contributing innovative ideas to enhance our systems.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and install emergency fire pumps and related equipment on-site. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of fire safety systems. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service and support. Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes. Identify opportunities for system improvements and cost efficiencies. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fire safety technology.

Requirements

Proven experience as a field service engineer or similar role in the technical or engineering field. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A solid background in diesel mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 38,000.00-42,000.00 per year
