OR Group Ltd is a growing plant machinery services company based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. We provide statutory inspections, machinery repairs, servicing, and parts supply to clients across construction, manufacturing, recycling, warehousing, and more.

two-hour radius from your home
wherever possible. However, the workload may occasionally require jobs further afield, including
overnight stays
. This is rare, typically no more than once or twice per year, but flexibility is important.
The role offers some flexibility in hours to suit the right candidate, but will involve nationwide travel when required. You will often be working independently in the field, so confidence in working alone and making decisions on-site is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of plant and industrial machinery.
Carry out planned servicing, preventative maintenance.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and reliability.
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to explain findings and solutions.
Work independently while representing OR Group to a high standard.

Excellent communication and customer relationship-building skills.
Confidence in working alone and making sound decisions on-site.
An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant, Engineering, or related discipline.
A resilient, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
What We Offer
Competitive salary + overtime rates.
Flexible working hours where possible.
Company van, tools, PPE, and ongoing training provided.
Opportunities to gain further inspection and compliance qualifications (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, LEV).
