IInfinium IT Ltd delivers expert IT & Wi-Fi support across the UK through a team of highly experienced specialists. Due to a truly exciting period of growth, we are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team of engineers.

As the ideal candidate for the role of Field Service Engineer you should be able to demonstrate experience in either or both specialisms with skills in Wi-Fi installations, and onsite / remote IT support and installation work. You will have a thorough understanding of H&S regulations and should have a customer-focused approach, skilled in working as part of a team or individually with a 'Can Do' attitude.

Competitive salary of 26,700 - 32,00 (dep on quals and exp) Plus an on-call bonus Monday - Friday (40 hrs a week) occasional weekend work plus weekend on call rota. As Field Service Engineer your duties will be:

Installation of Wi-Fi, IT & TV infrastructure on customer sites at both indoor and outdoor locations Investigate/Diagnose faults and repair of Wi-Fi, IT & TV infrastructure Onsite Wi-Fi, IT & TV infrastructure proactive and maintenance tasks Installation of cabling (copper, fibre and coax) Occasional groundworks as part of onsite installs and repairs Wi-Fi & IT event installation and event support

Required skills, Experience and Competencies for the role of Field Service Engineer include:

Good understanding of IT, WiFi and Networking technologies Competent in manual Experience in a Field-based role Excellent communication and customer service skills. Flexible approach to work, able to support with manual/groundwork as and when required. Experience of internal and external cabling (copper and fibre) Able to work at height Full Driving Licence Fibre splicing (advantageous) Familiarity with Ubiquity, Cambium, Mikrotik (advantageous) Valid CSCS card and IPAF (advantageous)
