We work across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, oil and gas, renewables, and the marine industry. The Role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with experience in VSDs to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, installation, commissioning, breakdown response, and fault finding across a range of client sites in the UK and internationally, including offshore locations.

This role will suit someone with a strong electrical background who enjoys a varied workload, can adapt to changing situations, and is confident working independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Servicing and maintenance of VSDs and associated equipment Installation and commissioning of drives and systems Diagnosing faults and carrying out on-site repairs Providing responsive breakdown support Working flexibly, including occasional short-notice travel

Requirements

Experience with VSDs (any manufacturer) Background as a Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar Willingness to travel both within the UK and overseas, including offshore Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Full UK driving licence and a valid passport

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience in the marine industry Offshore certification (e.g. BOSIET) PLC experience 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent qualifications

Pay: 30,000.00-50,000.00 per year
