Field Service Engineer role is intended to cover West of London and surrounding areas

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Rockson First Limited to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. Focusing on Lab Water purification systems portfolio, which form an extensive variety of products and equipment associated with the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

THE ROLE and RESPONSIBILTIES

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager you will be responsible for the daily service and support for a range of Lab Water purification systems.

1. Install, troubleshoot and maintain an extensive variety of products and equipment, focusing on Lab Water purification system portfolio. Identify, analyse and repair product failures. Order and replace parts, as needed. Train customer employees. Determine and recommend which products or services fit a customer's needs.

2. Perform service activities to be compliant with all applied regulations (EHS) and advise the customers about this topic. Follow current company procedures and SOP/Guidelines.

3. Provide timely and accurate updates to the CRM (Service Max).

4. Manage own Car Stock (spare parts in stock/car) to maximise first time fix rate without impacting the non-moving parts list.

5. Communicate with customers and other Rockson First personnel to support business development. Promote Service activities, products and solutions.

6. Report regularly to Management.

7. Perform any other duties, assigned by Mgr, aligned with the company strategy.

THE PERSON

You will need competent technical and IT skills as well as strong customer facing skills. You will need to have effective planning and communication skills. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative and work within a team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

HNC / HND Electrical or Mechanical. Experience of working as a service, commissioning or applications engineer. Experience of working in the forces such as being a technician or engineer in the RAF, NAVY, REME etc would be desirable. Experience of working in hospitals as a technician or within theatres would be advantages too.
