Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site support and maintenance for our products and systems. You will work closely with clients to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment at customer sites to ensure functionality and reliability. Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnosing problems efficiently to minimise downtime. Install new equipment and provide training to clients on proper usage and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance based on customer feedback. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, installations, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on-site. Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role within the industry. Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the field. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients at all levels. A valid driver's licence is required for travel to client locations. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional travel for extended periods.
