About the Role:

We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support the setup, servicing, and upkeep of automated sack filling and robotic palletising machinery. This position involves travelling extensively across the UK and working closely with a small group of engineers to ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

Installing advanced robotic and bagging machinery at various sites Performing regular servicing and preventative maintenance on installed equipment Collaborating with electrical engineers and technicians to diagnose and resolve faults Operating effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team Staying away from home during the working week, with travel covering up to 75% of your time

What We're Looking For:

Valid UK driving licence is essential Strong mechanical aptitude with practical experience using hand tools Willingness to travel widely and stay away from home Monday to Friday Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided Previous experience in similar mechanical service roles preferred but not mandatory
