We are seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanical Engineer / Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on-site to provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge base and be adept at utilizing various tools and technologies to ensure optimal performance of our products.

Duties

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment in the field. Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Utilize AutoCAD and CAD software to create and modify schematics for mechanical designs. Schedule projects efficiently to meet deadlines while ensuring quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components. Collect data during service visits to enhance product performance and reliability. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and system optimization. Apply mathematical principles to solve engineering problems related to mechanical systems. Use hand tools effectively for assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks. Assist in construction projects as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Experience

Candidates should have a solid background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with experience in the following areas:

Project scheduling techniques for efficient workflow management. Root cause analysis methodologies for effective problem-solving. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software for design purposes. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics. Strong mechanical knowledge encompassing schematics, fabrication, manufacturing, and construction processes. Experience with data collection methods to inform engineering decisions. Skills in soldering and using hand tools for assembly tasks.
