Perform commissioning, start-up, and training for new equipment at customer facilities. This includes installation checks, functional testing, operational checks, as well as machine maintenance and operation training. Work primarily with the latest technologies of all of our Business Fields. Provide timely and accurate service at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, and repair of NETZSCH's best in class, cutting-edge fine grinding machines. Troubleshoot issues and consult with customers Train customer maintenance and operations personnel in proper operating and maintenance procedures Communicate with customers and technical specialists at our headquarters in Germany Document project progress and provide status updates as required

Qualifications

Degree in engineering, a related technical field or equivalent training/experience in a technical field such as a mechanical, electrical, or similar field Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance Previous field service experience preferred Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge; experience in process technology is a plus Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and flow charts; familiarity with the metric system required In-depth knowledge of fine grinding and dispersing equipment maintenance, as well as general maintenance techniques, is desirable Proficiency in computer use (e.g. MS Office, service tools); valid driver's license required High flexibility and willingness to travel up to 70-80% throughout UK Strong customer-facing communication skills and a preference for hands-on interaction with clients; fluent English required Culturally sensitive, respectful, and values friendly, collaborative interactions with colleagues and customers
