Field Technical Manager (Fendt Tractors)

Remote Working - Central East & South England

Job Summary

This role is dedicated to promoting the highest level of customer satisfaction through hands on technical support to our Fendt Tractors, Tracked Tractors and Cargo Handler dealers, establishing a market-oriented and continuous product argumentation across all channels. This role includes a \'Job Allocated\' company car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands on product technical support on Fendt tractors for the area of competence as required.
  • Problem investigation through field visits with the use of our diagnostic tools
  • Promoting customer satisfaction and customer loyalty
  • Assist in end of machine inspections
  • Prepare concise field technical reports for all visits made
  • Assist with the coordination of field campaigns / repair programs ensuring that completion rates are achieved in line with company objectives.
  • To ensure that all AGCO core or branded products are supported technically with superior customer service.
  • To support the training activities for the dealer network.
  • To provide field/office based technical support including Technology / Guidance systems as part of the core Technical Help Desk (THD)
  • To take an active part in the THD support group whilst territory based (telephone and Salesforce responsibilities)
  • To assist and monitor technical issue resolution provided by the dealer network.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • A good technical knowledge of Agricultural Machinery. Including Engines, Electrics and Hydraulics
  • Comprehensive understanding of the operation of Agricultural Machinery
  • A good knowledge and operation of Technology / Guidance systems would be required
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to resolve problems on Agricultural Machinery
  • Ability to communicate at all levels - confident and assertive
  • Good technical aptitude and willingness to take a hands-on approach/competent in using diagnostic tools
  • Excellent presentation and coaching skills
  • Good computer and administration skills
  • A full clean European driving license
  • Agricultural background with good technical & working knowledge of tractors
