We are seeking an experienced Field-Based Mechanical Engineer to join our close-knit, expert service team.

What You'll Be Doing

Travelling to customer sites to install, decommission, service, and relocate large-scale print and packaging production machinery. Conducting mechanical fault finding, repairs, and adjustments on complex production equipment. Working closely with electrical and controls specialists to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Providing outstanding service while representing a respected British engineering business.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience with industrial-scale print/packaging machinery - installation, commissioning, decommissioning, relocations.
Strong mechanical background with relevant qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance Solid understanding of mechanical assemblies, alignments, and schematics.
Ability to work safely and effectively on complex machinery.
Flexibility to travel across the UK and further afield when required (overnight stays as needed).

What's On Offer

Circa 20 per hour / ~39,000 annual base salary (depending on experience). Overtime at time and a half (weekdays/Saturdays) and double time (Sundays). Fully equipped service vehicle, tools, and strong support from an expert, friendly team. Expenses for stay-aways with travel costs and hotels pre-booked and covered.
