BAFTA is looking for a
Film Screenings Programmer (Freelance)
to help deliver a high-profile, fast-paced screenings programme during the awards season (October-February).
This is a standout opportunity for a freelance event professional or film industry coordinator to play a vital role in making sure BAFTA Members have the best possible access to this season's contenders.
What you'll do:
Coordinate and deliver in-person and online film screenings across our busy awards season schedule
Liaise with film distributors, studios, and talent reps to ensure screenings run smoothly
Manage screening schedules, ticketing, RSVPs, and attendance reports
Support Q&As, guest introductions, and special events--both logistically and on-site
Handle talent coordination, including green room management, arrivals, and liaising with publicists and agents
Be the key contact for high-profile guests and their teams, ensuring a polished and professional experience
Collaborate closely with BAFTA teams to deliver flawless events, from logistics to audience experience
Stay cool and solutions-focused when dealing with last-minute changes or challenges
What we're looking for:
Solid experience coordinating film screenings, events, or similar projects
Confident working with high-profile talent and their representatives
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
Clear, professional communicator with a proactive mind-set
Calm under pressure and comfortable with fast turnarounds
Available evenings and weekends during peak awards season
A genuine passion for film and BAFTA's mission
