To carry out a variety of activities within the final assembly production process enabling production requirements to be met in the most effective and efficient manner and ensuring orders are met on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, communicate and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and measure their effectiveness.
Use appropriate machinery in the manner instructed to process components/products to meet production requirements.
Move and position components/products using overhead crane or other lifting equipment as provided and in accordance with instruction given.
Working within the internal quality system, ensure that optimum performance and required quality standards are maintained through to finished product stage.
Ensure products meet quality standard before being shipped.
Clean and maintain tools and equipment in safe working order and in peak production condition.
In conjunction with the Quality Manager ensure all health & safety systems and standards relevant to your department/function are adhered to and drive commitment to a safe working environment with a high standard of general housekeeping.
Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the Managing Director.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Good Communication
Ability to apply mechanical understanding.
Perform work standing during a shift.
Ability to be crossed trained in all areas of assembly.
Ability to lift large product parts.
Ability to read assembly schematics.
