We are looking for a
Finance Accounting Technician
to offer financial support and advice to our multidisciplined team at Align Property Services.
You will play a key role in supporting the budget setting and monitoring processes within the broader finance framework to deliver cost effective financial solutions for our business. You will assist your colleagues in managing department and project budgets, supporting them with any financial queries and offering general support on a day-to-day basis.
Your eye for detail will allow you to maintain accurate and up to date records, contributing to maintaining sound financial controls and measures and effectively highlight anomalies in data for investigation and reconciliation. You will collaborate with the Head of Accounts and other senior stakeholders on a range of business cases from basic to more complex, offering insight and knowledge on effective measures to implement.

To be successful in this position, you will:
Be a qualified accounting technician of the Association of Accounting Technicians or equivalent body with some post qualification experience, or hold the Certificate level of the CIPFA professional qualification
Hold 2, Level 3 qualifications Grade A to C e.g. A level or equivalent
Hold 5 Level 2 qualifications Grade A to C e.g. GCSE or equivalent), including numeracy and literacy
You are able to work within approved financial planning frameworks, and are able to explain financial concepts to those who are not within the financing team
Knowledgeable of accounting practices and relevant legislation
Demonstrates good commercial acumen
Be IT proficient including the use of financial management systems and Microsoft applications
