We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Finance Administrator to join our small and supportive central team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely handling of the Company's financial activities. This role includes processing purchase and sales ledger transactions, managing supplier records, reconciling credit cards and petty cash, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and practices.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, ensuring compliance with financial policies, data protection, and audit requirements, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with a strong standard of numeracy, excellent administrative skills, and a proactive approach.

We are looking for someone who:

Has recent demonstrable experience working in an administrative or finance role. Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C or above. Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their work. Can prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Demonstrates strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner. Has experience with computerised accounting packages and purchase and sales ledger processes (desirable).
Experience reconciling credit card and petty cash transactions (desirable).
The Company use Access Financials; no experience of this specific package is necessary as training will be given.
Experience with reconciling credit card and petty cash transactions is desirable but not essential, if you are a quick learner with the right attitude and core transferable skills, we would still like to hear from you.

This is a term time only post + 1 week (40 weeks per year).

Actual pro-rated salary range is 22,700 - 23,429 (

based on full-time equivalent 25,183 - 25,992)for working 37 hours per week.

Full time hours: 08:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30-16:00 Friday
