Job Description

SUMMARY:



The role of the Finance Administrator is to support the work of Table Tennis England's Finance Team. At its heart, the role is about supporting Table Tennis England and external partners to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the smooth running of finance processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for Table Tennis England. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the UK Sport funded performance programme for Great Britain Table Tennis (GBTT) and for the British Para Table Tennis Association (BPTT). Process the purchase ledger and other payments in respect of TTE, GBTT and BPTT. Prepare Monthly Control Accounts re the balance sheet. Prepare statements of income and expenditure re various grants. Undertake credit control responsibilities Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts. Complete monthly journals regarding regular entries. Prepare financial reports on Word/ Excel as required. Enter payments online using BankLine (NatWest). Uploading documents into NetSuite to ensure accuracy and correct processing. To assist with other finance tasks as required.
Any other reasonable duties to support the effective and efficient operation of Table Tennis England.

Please note, hybrid working is available, but this role is initially office-based.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



AAT qualified or working towards or qualified by experience Previous experience of working with computerised accounting software Ability to use Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Previous finance administration experience Excellent planning and organising abilities with the ability to prioritise effectively Professional approach when dealing with customers over the phone and via email Ability to work effectively as part of a team and comfortable working under own motivation and remotely Ability to promote and demonstrate anti-discriminatory practice
