You will work with many of the biggest promoters, agencies, artists, entertainers and events that there are. On one hand you will help to sell millions of Arena tickets and give people memories that will last a lifetime. On the other, you will introduce youngsters to a sport that they may play for 50 years and may even go on to perform in an Olympics or World Championships.

Job Summary



We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. This position involves assisting with various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining efficient financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. They will have strong communication skills both in writing and verbal.


Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure against budgets. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial information. Experience Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred but not essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work output. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
