Job Description

The Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting financial operations within the property sector, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. This permanent role is based in Newbridge and is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional.
Core Accounting & Reporting:

  • Support the month-end process with preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with production and analysis of monthly management accounts, including site performance reporting.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with site and central teams.
Operational Finance & Business Partnering:
  • Analyse cost drivers and highlight areas of variance, wastage, or inefficiency.
  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve process, and increase profitability across departments.
Projects & Continuous Improvement:
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team on finance-related aspects of operational change projects.
  • Provide insight and data to support business cases for investment or efficiency.
  • Challenge existing processes and support the implementation of improved controls and reporting tools.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.

A successful Finance Analyst should have:
  • A recognised qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within the Manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
