Role Overview
We're looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join our growing finance team.
The role will play a key part in driving financial performance, insight, and transformation across NEP's UK broadcast and media services team. Working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, you'll partner with leaders across the business to provide accurate financial analysis, deliver insightful reporting, and support commercial decision-making.
The Finance Analyst will provide high-quality financial analysis, develop strong data insights, and support core reporting and forecasting activity.
Key Responsibilities
Core Financial Management

  • Support the production and review of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and insight into business performance.
  • Analyse variances, prepare commentary, and present findings to the Financial Controller and leadership team.
  • Deliver quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
  • Oversee statutory compliance and ensure all tax, VAT, and ONS reporting obligations are met to the highest standard.
  • Support the year-end audit process, coordinating with external auditors and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare annual financial statements for designated entities.
Business Partnering & Analysis
  • Provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop models and tools to enhance forecasting, scenario planning, and performance tracking.
  • Support process improvement and contribute to financial system enhancements.
  • Partner with departments to strengthen financial awareness and accountability.
What we're looking for:
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a commercial or audit-led environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and strong system proficiency (ERP experience desirable).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Development & Training:
Much of your learning in this role will take place through hands-on experience, working closely with colleagues across finance, operations, and commercial teams. You'll gain a deep understanding of how financial insights drive strategic decisions across NEP's dynamic and fast-paced environment, building your technical expertise and commercial awareness through real-world challenges.
You'll be supported by your manager and wider finance team to develop confidence and capability across key areas such as financial reporting, forecasting, business partnering, and systems development.
