The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
- Analyse financial data to support investment strategies and decision-making.
- Prepare detailed financial models and forecasts.
- Evaluate investment opportunities within the energy and natural resources sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project viability.
- Monitor and report on investment performance and market trends.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide insights to support strategic planning and budgeting.
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
- A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Qualified Accountant or QBE.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and investment evaluation.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
This role offers a competitive salary between 60,000-65,000 plus exceptional wider benefits.
